You send a blind bid

The blind bid can be either the maximum you would pay, or the minimum you would accept. Counterparty is not shown the amount.

Counterparty

Which will be the minimum they would accept, or the maximum they would pay, as relevant.

InstantSettle algorithmically compares the bids

This is done in secret. The process is automated and instantaneous.

Notification of parties

If there is overlap between the blind bids, InstantSettle emails you the midpoint. If there is not, InstantSettle notifies you as such, and keeps the blind bids confidential.

Get an ADR participation certificate:

The Practice Direction on Pre-Action Conduct and Protocols (CPR) can require parties to provide evidence that ADR has been considered.
⁠⁠A party’s silence in response to an invitation to participate in ADR may be considered unreasonable by the court and can lead to the court ordering that party to pay additional court costs.
